CrimeView Solutions for Public Safety

In conjunction with our partner The Omega Group, MoosePoint Technology developed three browser-based products as part of Omega's CrimeView Enterprise Solution:

CrimeView Web

CrimeView Web is an application that allows staff throughout the department to access crime data through the existing internal network (intranet). With one site license, multiple users can simultaneously create maps and reports. CrimeView Web can be accessed with a browser at any computer on the intranet, eliminating the need for data or mapping software at individual workstations.

CrimeView Community

CrimeView Community - Incident Map

CrimeView Community is a browser-based community policing application that enables community members to access crime data in their neighborhoods quickly and easily. Using ESRI’s ArcIMS® server software, this web based mapping technology gives communities the information they need at any given time.

People want to know what is happening in their neighborhoods. With CrimeView® Community you can provide an important public service by giving citizens access to information that they may ordinarily request directly from your staff. Creating self reliance among community members and alleviating some of your staff’s work load, can be of great benefit to a department and its community outreach and staff productivity.

CrimeView Community now has two modules available. They can be used individually or together: Incident Map and Sex Offender Map.

CrimeView Community - Sex Offender Map

The newest addition to the CrimeView® Community Application is now available. As an addition to your current CrimeView® Community application, or as a stand alone program, The Omega Group has developed an internet application that easily queries sex offenders in your community.

Queries can be made by individual neighborhoods, schools, parks, police beats, addresses or intersections. The user can zoom into a one quarter mile area to plot known offenders.
